Recital 2020

The dance studio might have been forced to close, but our dancers learned that the show must go on!  Together we pushed forward continuing with over 65 dance classes online thanks to Zoom.  The studio engaged dancers with social media challenges, virtual scavenger hunts, and weekly themed classes.  HHDA hosted a virtual opening number routine, a costume parade, and a senior drive by parade.  We were welcomed into our dancers playrooms, dining rooms, outdoor spaces and we had the privilege of not only dancing with our dancers, but their extended family and pets!

Our studio did something unique and hosted a Virtual Dance Recital at the Mendon Twin Drive In.  “Zoom Life” was presented to a sold out Parking lot of 300 cars and displayed proudly on both big screens.  That night our dancers turned into movie stars and received the celebration they so deserved.
