summer dance camps & classes 2021

Join H&H Dance Academy for some summer fun! We provide a safe environment for children to enjoy and explore the wonderful world of dance. We have a brand new 5,500 square foot facility and are following all COVID protocols and procedures. We have successfully kept our students dancing this season while keeping our dance family safe. Come see why we are “Your Neighborhood Dance Studio,” training and challenging dancers in a nurturing and family friendly atmosphere.

About Dance Camps

Each dance camp runs for 3 hours and includes, of variety of dance styles, crafts, and a small performance on the last day (depending on COVID restrictions.)  Campers should wear dance clothes, or “play” clothes, pack their own nut free snack and water.  Parents will drop off their children at the entrance doors as our waiting room will remain closed during all camps.  Each camp needs a minimum of 6 dancers to run.

Ages 3-5

Under the Sea

Time: 9am-12pm
July 5th-9th 

Come dive into an ocean of fun.  Enjoy creating Ocean themed crafts and dancing to music from Moana, and Ariel.  Will crab walk like Sebastian and search the ocean like Moana.  Your dancers will be thanking you for signing them up and you’ll be singing “You’re Welcome” all the way home.

Groovin at the Zoo

Time: 9am-12pm
July 19th-23rd 

Who doesn’t love to go to the zoo?  Rest assured we left the smell at the zoo and just brought the zoo adventures to HHDA.  Dancers will enjoy making zoo crafts and learning about different zoo animals. We’ll go on an animal dance safari and learn how to dance like all the animals in the zoo.

Magical Mickey

Time: 9am-12pm
July 26th-30th

If you love Disney Magic, then this camp is for you! Jump on a magic carpet and fly on into a magical week. We’ll make Disney themed crafts, and listen to Disney songs all week long.  This camp is sure to be magical!

Pirates and Fairies

Time: 9am-12pm
August 2nd-6th

Come find the hidden treasure, but leave your swords at home.  Tinker Bell and her fairies will help guide our campers on the right dancing paths.  If you’re lucky you’ll go home with your own pixie dust to continue the dancing magic at home.

Summer Dance Camps
Ages 6-10

Welcome to the Circus

Time: 1pm-4pm
July 5th-9th

Calling all ring leaders for this camp! Dancers will be walking the tight rope and learning all sorts of balancing tricks and tips.  Come join the HHDA circus!

Broadway Bound

 Time: 1pm-4pm
July 19th-23rd or July 26th-30th

Be a triple threat, and learn to act, sing and dance! This Broadway theater camp is always a success.  Dancers will be introduced to dances from classical musicals and will work on recreating a Disney musical themselves.

HHDA Remix

Time: 1pm-4pm
August 2nd-6th

Come enjoy a celebration of all different styles of dances!  Dancers will enjoy a day of  ballet, hip hop, acro, musical theater, and lyrical. This is sure to be a blast! Show your HHDA pride and be part of the REMIX

About Weekly Dance Classes

Tuition is broken down per hour of classes and follows the same 2020/2021 tuition price scale, see payment tab online. Register for 3 or more classes and receive $25.00 off the total tuition during the month of February.

Please enroll through the jackrabbit portal. If you don’t have an account, please login and create one. You will not be charged a registration fee for summer classes. Deposits are due at the time of registration. Every summer camp has been set to a $50.00 deposit in the portal. All summer classes have been set to a $25.00 deposit in the portal. In order to lock in the discounts and hold your spot for summer, the deposits must be paid at the time of registration. The deposits will then be deducted from your summer balance along with the February discounts and your account will be charged the remaining total on June 1st. A reminder email will be sent out in May.

Movie Night/Craft Nights

Join HHDA for a movie night 3 different times this summer. Enjoy watching a family friendly movie while creating a fun craft. Popcorn will be served as well!
